Zlataritsa municipality is in the eastern part of Veliko Turnovo Region in the Northern-Balkan Valley. It is bordered by the municipalities of Elena, Veliko Turnovo, Lyaskovets, Strazhitsa and Antonovo.
It includes 1 town – the administrative center Zlataritsa, and 23 villages.
The climate is typical for the temperate continental climate zone. The total area of the municipality Zlataritza is 232,675 decares, of which 118,949 – rural and 103,341 – wooded.
